This music video is messed up, but the song gets your toes a-tappin'. It was written by Nick Feldman, jack Hues, and Peter Wolf. It went to Number 2 back in 1983. They were also under "The David Geffen Company."

"Heaven" hit No. 1 on June 22, 1985. He did make it to the top three more times in the 1990s, with songs from the movies "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", "Don Juan DeMarco", and "The Three Musketeers" (with Sting and Rod Stewart).

The Cure, between 1980-1989, released "Boys Don't Cry" (1980), "Seventeen Seconds" (1980), "Faith" (1981), "...Happily Ever After" (1981), "Pornography" (1982), "Concert: The Cure Live" (1984), "The Top" (1984), "Japanese Whispers" (1984), "The Head on the Door" (1985), "Staring at the Sea: The Singles" (1986), "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me" (1987), "Peel Sessions (live)" (1988), and "Disintergration" (1989).

There is an album "Blow Up Your Video"(1988) but there is not a song named after the album.

By the late 1980s, Menudo slipped into obscurity. In the 1990s, they changed their name to MDO. Along with the name change, the old rules that forced members to leave also changed. They don't have to leave when they reach the age of 16, or grow too tall, or when puberty sets in.

The all-American sports car was introduced in this year and all models came in Polo White with Sportsman Red interior. Evidently, Prince's metaphorical lover wasn't a '53 model!

Ian Mackaye played in all these bands. Most notably, Minor Threat, Fugazi and Teen Idles. Some seem to think he played bass in Rites Of Spring but that is actually untrue. The Rites Of Spring bassist was called Mike Fellows. Ian played in The Slinkees when he was very young. This was prior to him setting up Dischord Records in 1980 which still runs today. I think he played very very briefly with The Untouchables towards the end of their tenure on the DC scene but essentially, The Untouchables was Ian's brother, Alec's band. Jeff Nelson drummed for Minor Threat, The Slinkees, Egghunt, Skewbald/Grand Union and Teen Idles. Brendan Canty played drums for Fugazi, Ivor Hanson for Embrace. The Evens was a collaboration of Ian Mackaye singing and playing baritone guitar with Amy Farina, who played with Alec Mackaye in The Warmers, on drums. They recorded 12 songs in the summer of 2004 released in March 2005, Other than Fugazi, The Evens is Mackaye's only band to have lasted into 2005. Pailhead was just Mackaye and some guy from Ministry but they only released two singles (on Wax Trax records) anyway so it doesn't matter.

It was Talk Talk who released the song, not Duran Duran.
