Punk Rock 1980s and 90s - Usually, the singer for Dag Nasty is Dave Smalley who also sang briefly with All and a lot with Down By Law. Who was the replacement singer on Dag Nasty's second album "Wig Out At Denko's"?
 Chad Price
 Colin Sears
 Peter Cortner
 Roger Marbury
The correct answer is 'Peter Cortner'
Peter Cortner was hired to fill in when Dave temporarily left for Down By Law or All in 1987 following their first (and widely believed, best) album "Can I Say" which was released in March 1986 and is one of my favourite albums. Since "Wig Out at Denko's" they have released a number of records including "Four On The Floor", "Minority of One" and "Field Day".

80s Music Question 6
1980s Rock Music - This band recorded a cover of "Ballroom Blitz."

The album's most popular single was "Ballroom Blitz."

Obscure 1980s Music 1 - What is the Psychedelic Fur's highest-charting single of the 1980s in the US?
 Love My Way
 Heartbreak Beat
 Heaven
 Pretty In Pink
The correct answer is 'Heartbreak Beat'
"Heartbreak Beat" is the group's highest-charting single, but oddly enough came from one of their lowest-selling albums of the 1980s. They reached their highest chart peak with the single and its album, "Midnight To Midnight", but the lp sold fewer copies than their previous releases.

80s Music Question 8
Punk Rock 1980s and 90s - Rise Against did a cover of "Anyway You Want It" at the end of their third album.
 True
 False
The correct answer is 'False'
Its false, Rise Against's third album is called "Siren Song For The Counter Culture" and it is probably my favourite album released in 2004. I urge you to try it. However, good as it is, it does not contain "Anyway You Want It". That was off the album previous to "Siren Song For The Counter Culture" called "Revolutions Per Minute" which was also very good. So, as you can see, I like Rise Against.

Thanks people. I hope you enjoyed my quiz.
