Not realising that Joe is paraplegic, Peter invites him to play on the Happy-Go-Lucky softball team. However, Joe performs splendidly despite his disability, and single-handedly wins the game for Peter's team.

Joe claims to have fallen off a building while fighting the Grinch, whom he was there to arrest for stealing Christmas. On a TV movie about his achievements, a gang of thugs beat him up. After falling off a sled, Joe regained the use of his legs, but lost it again when his son Kevin crashed into him. Finally, Peter faked a car accident to make it look as if he had become paraplegic, in order to get the same attention as Joe. This brilliant plan came to nothing, as it was obvious that it was a scarecrow in Peter's clothes that was hit, and that Peter himself was driving the car.

Peter gives away the presents to a needy family and tries to get them back. Lois is irritated, but she isn't too mad about it.

My quizzes are usually pretty easy so I thought I'd throw in a hard one. This is the episode where Peter and Lois decide to have another baby and Stewie tries to stop them.

Lori Alan provides the voice for Diane Simmons. Diane often argues with the other news anchor, Tom Tucker, and both anchors have a habit of saying inappropriate things when they think the camera is off, with an emphasis on "think".

Also mentioned in "A Hero Sits Next Door". Meg tells this to Kevin while watching her dad in a baseball game.

They aren't really doing anything inappropriate, but Bert receives a phone call to come down to the police station because someone was murdered down at Hooper's. It's quite shocking to hear Bert swear, especially if you grew up watching those two on Sesame Street.

Lois has super-strength, Peter shape-shifts, Brian has super speed, Meg can grow claws, Stewie has mind control, and Chris is pyrokinetic. Obviously, these are not permanent as this is just a "vignette show" (like "Treehouse of Horror" on "The Simpsons").

This is seen in a flashback in the episode "Chitty Chitty Death Bang." When the three brothers step off the bus, Peter mistakes them for the "Children of the Corn" and he shoots them dead.
