Someone asks what will happen if Umbridge finds out and Hermione says she doesn’t care. She further adds that "It’s kind of exciting breaking a few rules." This provokes the above incredulous comment from Ron.

The Weasley family owl's name is Errol. He was used by Ron to send the release papers to Azkaban to free Hagrid. He got and lost and confused, therefore making Hagrid's return to Hogwarts late.

It comes from the Greek myth about a man named Narcissus. He was very vain and was cursed by a god to fall in love with himself. While admiring himself in a river one day he fell in and drowned.

Many students are keen on submitting their name into the Goblet of Fire, in the hopes of being chosen as the Triwizard Champion for Hogwarts. Because the three tasks are so dangerous, the tournament has been restricted to students 17 years of age and older. Fred and George concoct an aging potion, in the hopes of fooling the age line that Dumbledore has drawn around the Goblet. They think that it works at first, but then the Goblet spits their names back out. When their hair turns gray, and they start growing long gray beards, they begin to wrestle one another, each blaming the failure of their scheme on the other.



Everyone at Hogwarts is excited about the upcoming Triwizard tournament. Voldemort arranges to have the cup turned into a portkey, so that Harry is brought to him when he touches it. In the graveyard outside of Voldemort’s father’s home, Harry’s blood is used in a ceremony to bring Voldemort back to his corporeal form. Unable to stop Voldemort’s return, Harry does manage to escape, to give warning of the Dark Lord’s return.

Krum used Transfiguration to save Hermione. He transfigured his head into a shark's head so he could breathe.

Dobby gave the Gillyweed to Harry in the book. Neville wasn't sure the Gillyweed would work because other Wizards have had controversies over salt water verses fresh water. The Gillyweed worked for Harry in the second task.

Professor Dumbledore asks Ron to fetch his owl Errol and send Hagrid's release papers off right away to Azkaban, for Hagrid's immediate release from the prison. Unfortunately his owl got lost and confused, thus causing Hagrid to be late in his return to Hogwarts.
