In "The Search for Spock", Kirk & Co. prepare to steal the Enterprise and attempt to save Spock's "katra" (which is trapped inside McCoy's mind). After Kirk tells his friends that he and McCoy must go to Genesis and that he can't order the others to come along, Chekov speaks his support by giving this line.

Brodie Bruce (Jason Lee) says this right at the beginning of the movie. It's the very first line. Brodie tells several gutbusting anecdotes like this one during the movie. The one about his cousin on the plane is pretty funny too, but it can't be quoted here.

This is what Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci) says when describing his mother's painting to Jimmy (Robert De Niro) and Henry (Ray Liotta). The painting is of an old man sitting in a boat with two dogs. One dog is looking to the right, and the other dog is looking to the left. Jimmy then makes a joke that the old man looks like a man they just killed.

"Citizen Kane" (1941) is hailed as a film masterpiece that was written by, directed by, and starred Orson Welles. Loosely based on the life of newspaper giant William Randolph Hearst, the movie traces the life of Charles Foster Kane, a very rich man who died all alone in his ostentatious mansion. His last word was "rosebud," and a reporter is determined to find the meaning of Kane's mysterious last word.



Orson Welles' character, Charles Foster Kane, delivers this quote at the very beginning of the film when he dies. A huge close-up shot of his mouth fills the screen as he says the word "rosebud."

The movie is "That Thing You Do!". This line is by Lenny when Phil Horace wants to sign the band. Lenny has several hilarious lines in this fun and interesting movie! Another one is when someone asks him about the band and he replies, "Oh, I'm not here with these fellas. I've got a pig in competition over at the livestock pavilion, and I am going to win that blue ribbon!"

Delta house member Stork (at the parade at the end of the movie he pushes the drum major out of the way and leads the marching band down an alley) is played by Douglas Kenney. Kenney is also one of the movie's screenplay co-writers (along with Harold Ramis and Chris Miller) and was a co-founder of the humor magazine National Lampoon. Chris Miller's own fraternity experiences were the basis of several published stories starting in 1974, and these were turned into the 1978 movie "Animal House".
