Oldman and Hopkins were also both in the movie "Hannibal", the sequel to "The Silence of the Lambs". In "Bram Stoker's Dracula" Oldman plays Dracula. Hopkins plays Professor Abraham Van Helsing in this classic vampire story about love outlasing death.

In this film Jonathon (Cusack) and Sara (Beckinsale) meet in the glove department of Bloomingdale's a few days before Christmas. When the sign doesn't come they part ways, but seven years later, as each is preparing to marry someone else, the signs finally come and they decide to locate each other. Jonathon goes in a search of a book that Sara wrote her name in that fateful night, and Sara heads to New York to the café and hotel where she met Jonathon, searching for a five dollar bill that he wrote his name and phone number on.
