Movie Question 1
"Dreamgirls" Part 1 - When we first met Curtis Taylor Jr., he was hanging around the talent show, trying to get a toehold into the music business. What paying job did he have at that time?
 car salesman
 janitor
 construction worker
 factory worker
The correct answer is 'car salesman'
Curtis started making himself valuable to the musicians by securing shows and auditions for them, and before long he had replaced their old manager. He eventually became a very successful promoter with his own record label. Unfortunately he started buying into his own hype and became more and more controlling, disposing of people whenever they gave him any trouble.

Movie Question 2
"Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home", Quiz II of II - Once the whales are brought back (well, forward) to the 23rd century, they do in fact communicate successfully with the alien probe that has been destroying Earth with its transmissions. What is the main point of the probe's message?
 "Where have you been?"
 It's never revealed.
"We have come to take you home."
 "We are dying."
The correct answer is 'It's never revealed.'
We can speculate and theorize all we want, but we have absolutely no idea what the probe and whales are actually saying to each other. Nimoy's commentary notes that certain executives at Paramount demanded that subtitles be put into the film, translating the conversation. Nimoy outright refused, saying that the audience didn't need to know exactly what was being communicated. I tend to agree.

Movie Question 6

 Nevada Smith
 Rio Grande
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
 Unforgiven
The correct answer is 'Unforgiven'
Any fan of western films must at least be familiar with the 1992 Clint Eastwood-directed film 'Unforgiven'. One of the rare western films that received an Oscar for Best Picture ('Cimmaron' and 'Dances with Wolves' are two others), 'Unforgiven' pits Gene Hackman (as Little Bill) against Clint Eastwood (as William Munny). We all benefit from their performances, along with those of Morgan Freeman and Richard Harris.
