Star Trek Question 1
"Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," Part 2 - Spock's intuition saves the day, as usual, once the ENTERPRISE and the RELIANT are playing hide-and-seek in the Mutara Nebula. He assesses Khan's tactics, and reports to Kirk: "He's intelligent, but not experienced. His actions suggest two-dimensional thinking." This observation prompts Kirk to tell Sulu to change the ship's "z" orientation -- its "vertical" stance. How far does Kirk tell Sulu to "drop" the ENTERPRISE?
 ten kilometers
 five kilometers
 one hundred kilometers
 fifty kilometers
The correct answer is 'ten kilometers'
Kirk: "Mister Sulu -- 'z' minus ten kilometers." "Dropping" the ship in such a manner allows Kirk to maneuver under and behind the RELIANT. Eventually, the ENTERPRISE is directly behind the RELIANT, which allows for a significant tactical advantage.

One more quiz to go! Stay tuned for Part 3.

Star Trek Question 2
'Star Trek: Voyager' - In 'Scientific Method' what was the name of the alien race conducting experiments on the crew?
 Vori
 Kazon
 Srivani
 Caatati
The correct answer is 'Srivani'

Star Trek Question 3
3, 2, 1...Blast Off! - Nine...
First Lieutenant Vivien Butler Ricardo is now strapped into her seat. She's a smart and hearty one but is still a little peeved that this get-up she is forced to wear in these outer space adventures really yields the most irksome examples of flop sweat and 'helmet hair'. The tower has counted down to Nine, the vessel is now sealed. Suddenly she thinks of that "Star Trek - Voyager" Borg character 'Seven Of Nine' on TV. Which of these is right about that quizzical alien cutie?
The character was played by the former runway model (in real life) Irene Ryan.
She wasn't really an alien. Seven Of Nine was born a human until those rascal Borgs got a hold of her and complicated everything.
In infancy, Seven Of Nine's parents sacrificed her to The Borgs to save their own Vulcan/human necks.
The character was originally a male of her species but was mechanically altered so as to bear little Borgs.
The correct answer is 'She wasn't really an alien. Seven Of Nine was born a human until those rascal Borgs got a hold of her and complicated everything.'
Actress Jeri Ryan would never be confused with that other actress Irene Ryan (who played a very dissimiliar creature as Granny in "The Beverly Hillbillies"). That said, Seven Of Nine was born Annika Hansen to two very regular humans who, by pure crappy luck, were abducted by The Borgs who "assimilated" the whole family. Eventually Annika was mostly restored to humanness after a procedure that removed 82% of Borg hardware from her personage, thus freeing her from the Borg collective mind. This done through the neutralization of the upper-spinal column neurotransceiver, which I'm sure happens all the time, or maybe not! She retained a few metallic parts which were deemed necessary to keep her alive which is why she had that distracting eye.

Star Trek Question 4
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - Khan says he spits what at Kirk?
 Fire from his heart
 His last breath
 Acid from his mouth
 Phasers from his eyes
The correct answer is 'His last breath'
Khan’s final words are: "From hell’s heart, I stab at thee. For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee."

Star Trek Question 5
Common Sci-Fi Episode Titles, Part 2 of 5 - "Tru Calling": When five bodies arrive in the morgue and ask for her help, Tru's mission is five times more difficult. After learning that the victims died at a bachelor party, Tru poses as a bartender to gain access.
"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine": A transporter accident sends Dax, Sisko and Bashir back in time to the year 2024, when San Fransisco was plagued with riots and social upheaval. Sisko has to pose as the leader of a group of people that cause a series of riots that are instrumental in restoring the timeline.
 Putting Out Fires
 Destiny
 Past Tense
 The Longest Day
The correct answer is 'Past Tense'
"Past Tense" is a two-parter for "Deep Space Nine" and is one of many "Star Trek" time travel episodes. Clint Howard, brother of Ron Howard, guest stars.

One of the men that dies in "Tru Calling's" "Past Tense" is played by Leonard Roberts, who previously played Forrest on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and appeared in episodes "This Year's Girl" and "Who Am I?" with Eliza Dushku.

Star Trek Question 6
Original "Star Trek" Insults : Part 2 - In the episode "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield", two aliens from the planet Cheron have a feud on the Enterprise. They are each black on one side and white on the other. One of the aliens says to the other: "You've combed the galaxy and come up with nothing but ____, do-gooders and bleeding hearts."
 bland flesh
 monocolored trash
 pinkies
 softies
The correct answer is 'monocolored trash'
The episode illustrated the utter absurdity of racism. One of the aliens was white on the right side, the other was white on the left side. Because of this, they were sworn enemies. The two aliens fought each other on the Enterprise, and then returned to their home planet, where they continued to fight even though everyone else was dead.
