Beetle-like parasites took over several high-ranking starfleet officers around the time of the "Next Generation" episode "Coming Of Age," the first episode with Admiral Quinn and his assistant, Commander Remmick. In the episode "Conspiracy," the Enterprise crew learned about the invasion and eventually killed the mother creature - which was living in Commander Remmick himself.

Sela is the daughter (and spitting image) of her mother, Lt. Yar, and a Romulan (Played by Denise Crosby).

The crew find a nearby planet devestated by an explosion that very day. This explosion created sub-space fissures, one of which transport Janeway and Paris to the day before on the planet, when it was still alive. Eventually, the crew in the future use a polaric beam to try to contact Janeway and Paris. When Janeway sees its effect in the past and that it's about to disrupt a power system conduit, she nullifies it with a phaser blast. Since the explosion is averted in the past, time reverts to before they noticed the planet, which is still teeming with life.

The particular Milton quote Khan referred to is when Lucifer fell in to the pit: "It is better to rule in hell than to serve in heaven."

With the Federation at war, Tasha didn't die. Guinan realized the timeline had changed, and that Tasha originally died a senseless death. To give her death meaning, she went back with the Enterprise C to the fight with the Romulans. There would be some interesting twists to come out of that decision in future episodes.

After his wife died, he left for his home planet (Kenda II) via the Enterprise.

Admiral Ross makes Sisko his new adjutant, and Dax takes over the DEFIANT. She does an admirable job, and even though she holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander, she is referred to as "Captain" by the crew, as per naval tradition.

Neelix is killed during an away mission, but is revived when Seven of Nine modifies Borg technology to revive him. He then began to question what he believed about the afterlife.

Croden tricks Odo into thinking that he knows something about the origin of Odo's race. The lost Ferengi vessel wouldn't be mentioned again until an episode of "Voyager," and the word "Dominion" hadn't even been spoken yet at this point in the series.
