Star Trek Question 4
Famous Firsts In 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' - Which crewmember was the first to be promoted in rank officially?
 Wesley Crusher
 Beverly Crusher
 Geordi La Forge
 Deanna Troi
The correct answer is 'Geordi La Forge'
It happened off-screen, but Geordi was a Lieutenant at the end of the second season and a Lieutenant Commander at the start of the third. (Funtrivia player soong also informs me that Geordi went from a Lieutenant Junior Grade in season 1 to a full Lieutenant in season 2.) Wesley held the very unofficial rank of 'Acting Ensign' the first couple of seasons, but received an official promotion to full Ensign near the end of season three. Deanna Troi received a promotion to the (unofficial?) rank of Commander in the seventh season episode 'Thine Own Self.' Beverly's had three full pips (Commander's rank) on her collar since the series premiere.

Star Trek Question 5
"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," Season Six - The episode "Change of Heart" gets its title from the dilemma of a major character who, appropriately enough, changes his or her mind in the climax of the of the show. Who is it?
 Dax
 Worf
 Sisko
 Kira
The correct answer is 'Worf'
Worf and Dax are assigned to meet a Cardassian double agent deep in the jungle of a dangerous planet in order to receive a critical intelligence report. Along the way, Dax is critically injured, and at first, she convinces Worf to leave her behind in the jungle to die, so that he can meet the double agent and retrieve the intel that could potentially save millions of lives. He initially agrees with her logic, but at the last moment, Worf changes his mind (and heart) and doubles back, choosing to save his wife's life as opposed to saving the lives of millions of strangers.

Sisko later notes that Worf's decision will probably prevent him from ever reaching the rank of captain...but he adds that, as a man who once had a wife, he would probably have done the same thing. Powerful stuff!

Star Trek Question 6
"Star Trek Voyager": "Year of Hell" Parts I and II - Who answers the trivia question about the Pheonix?

 Torres
The correct answer is 'Seven'
